Tore Cut Road Cutter is a piece of equipment that is attached onto either a skid steer, excavator or backhoe to repair potholes. The Road Cutter cuts out a neat square shape around the pothole. If the damaged area is large a grid with multiple cuts can be made. Once this cut out has taken place it is then filled with either hot mix, cold mix or other appropriate materials depending on the road application. An attachment is then added to the Road Cutter to compress the material ensuring a perfect fill and a repair with a much longer life. The critical factor is that all cut edges are vertical and will hold the new material in place longer than the traditional method.
