Torr Dynamics has developed an innovative vacuum insulating commercial glazing panel technology system. The Torr panels, along with Torr's patented automated control system- utilizing a proprietary active monitoring algorithm- allows agricultural, industrial, and commercial building owners and operators to dramatically reduce continuous operating expenditures for heating, cooling, and lighting. Torr Dynamics, originally founded as Kattmann Elias, LLC in 2018, believed there was a more energy efficient way to use current building materials. Torr first began to develop its technology for agricultural applications with the mission to detach produce prices from energy prices and environmental risk factors. From 2018 to 2021, Torr focused on developing its intellectual property, building relationships with industry partners, product commercialization and manufacturing. In 2022, Torr completed construction of the world's most energy efficient Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA) structure integrated with Torr's vacuum insulated glazing technology.
