Total Balance Pilates offers private pilates sessions on the apparatus.Total Balance Pilates and Yoga is centered on the fundamental principals set down by Joseph H Pilates. The Pilates Method- an exercise system focusing on improving flexibility and strength without building bulk-has been around since the early 1920's and is still evolving today! Cathy Konciak owner and creator of Total Balance Pilates and Yoga has been studying fitness for over 20 years. As a fitness professional trained in many diverse modalities, she believes that yoga and pilates are the best methods to develop and maintain a strong, healthy body. Cathy has completed a 200-hour certification through Bright Spirit Yoga, which is recognized by the Yoga Alliance. She is also a member of the Yoga Alliance and is in the process of being recognized as an experienced registered yoga teacher (E-RYT) meaning she has taught over hours of yoga since her certification, Cathy is also trained to teach prenatal yoga and has taught prenatal yoga at an area hospital.
