Established in 1993, Total Depth Pty Ltd (Exploration Services) provides services using a wide range of technologies that we apply to challenges associated with the exploration for and development of natural resources. Our international clientele include both private and public companies as well as the government sector. We also work with research groups and independent inventors to help them commercialize their intellectual property and software for use in geoscience. We apply these technologies to projects targeting Oil, Gas, Geothermal, Coal, Minerals, Coal Seam Gas and Shale resources. Our objective is to help address specific technical challenges by using hybrid workflows created from existing and newly developed patented or proprietary technologies. The aim is to use these workflows to independently develop or validate geo-models thereby, helping to address elements of non-uniqueness. Our services typically involve aspects of data collection, processing, analysis, interpretation and integration with geological data in time, depth or frequency domains. These services vary depending upon the needs of the client, the information available and the technical objectives for the project. Some of the specialized technology in our technical “toolkit” include processes like pre-interpretation processing, genetic segmentation, gene sequencing, differential geometry, inversion, orthogonal decomposition, spectral attenuation, principal component analysis, spectral shaping, morphometric analysis, spatial database mining for automated object extraction and airborne petrophysics. Commercial companies providing these technologies include Seisnetics, GeoProxima, Signal Estimation Technology and Pinemont Technologies.
