Toth Montessori

ToTH Montessori, founded as Toddlers on the Hill in 2012, is an independent Montessori school for children between the ages of 3 months and 6 years of age. Our 5th St campus is located in the first floor suite of the Arthur Capper Recreation Center in the Navy Yard neighborhood of Washington, DC. Our second location in Navy Yard/Capitol Hill is opening in the spring of 2025. ToTH Montessori guides young children to reach their full potential by nurturing their curiosity, independence, and enthusiasm for learning. The Montessori educational method and philosophy, developed more than a century ago by Italian physician Maria Montessori, promotes independence, self-motivation, and personal responsibility. Our trained teachers offer kind and caring guidance that nurtures children’s cognitive, physical, social and emotional growth.
