Tour Britannia

Over the last six years, Tour Britannia has established itself as the UK's premier Race Tour. Primarily designed for historic cars, Tour Britannia 2012 will be based in Harrogate, North Yorkshire with a route that runs thorugh Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and the Midlands. The Competition and Regularity categories are open to pre 1981 cars, while the Targa Britannia is open to modern GT Vehicles. All cars follow the same scenic route over the three days, on quiet rural roads, with visits to a race track each day and stages at stately homes and other notable venues along the route. Also reminiscent of racing and rallying of the Fifties and Sixties, the social side is not forgotten – as competitors can relax after an exhilarating day’s motoring and enjoy the unique camraderie in convivial and luxurious surroundings at both the HQ Clubroom and other carefully chosen dinners. Tour Britannia is an event organised by former competitors for competitors, thereby providing an unrivalled level of expertise and knowledge for today's crews.
