TourCert advises and accompanies tourism enterprises and destinations in the implementation of sustainable and successful ways of doing business. TourCert qualifies through consultancies, seminars and online trainings that impart specialised knowledge on sustainable tourism. TourCert provides certification and awards the TourCert label for sustainability and corporate responsibility in tourism. As a starting point, TourCert also awards the TourCert Check. We have developed an internationally recognised consultancy and certification system, permeating the entire tourism value chain with regard to sustainability, which can be applied internationally. The TourCert system is more than just a certification. It is not just about awarding the label as such, but about the entire process and the company’s continuous development on the way to a sustainable future. What matters to us in this regard is “empowerment“, which means building learning structures and being jointly committed to business development. Tourism companies have their own CSR managers trained, who pass their knowledge on to the team and motivate them to act sustainably. Our large network supports us in our strive for a more intelligent, far-sighted tourism. Apart from the expert team in our offices, our team encompasses experienced consultants and independent auditors who regularly assess the companies’ sustainability performance. The certification council, which works on a volunteer basis, is at the core of the competence and credibility of the TourCert certification.
