Towards Functional Families

A community service organization dedicated to educate and empower the parents, teachers, caregivers to raise functional families through our parenting courses, family development programs-We are also dedicated to empower and equip the children with genuine moral values through kids’ character educational programs. Our Services: PARENTING: 1) MOTHERS GROUPS:''STEP BY STEP''- These are support groups to help moms ventilate, learn and socialize on weekly basis- These groups aim to educate moms to grow deeper in the understanding of their kids- It is time to open topics and discuss deeply the challenges of parenting and the problem of kids. 2) MOMS RETREAT- It is another idea to help working moms and those who can’t make it weekly or during the mornings- It is held once a month- During this day an important topic is discussed and it is opportunity to try answering a lot of questions in moms’ minds. 3) BASIC PARENTING COURSE- It is a six day training course. Let by psychiatrists - This program aims to educate and train both parents is how to raise functional kids- Parents will learn about various forms of the relationships between parents and kids, different patterns of parenting, stages of child development and sexual education. 4)LECTURES AND SESSIONS: Delivered by Dr.Marlene at different places eg.schools.the topic is chosen according to the needs of the place. 5) I AM MOM AND WANT TO LEARN (TV PROGRAMME)- Three years ago, Dr. Marlene Bastawros made a 28 episode live programme in one of the channels (miracle channel) under the name of انا ام.و عاوزة اتعلم KIDS ''CHARACTER EDUCATION'': COURSES: These aim to help kids explore and develop positive values and move toward their potential and inspire them to choose their own personal, social, moral values and be aware of practical methods for developing and deepening them.
