Town Square is an innovative and immersive adult day center that provides not only a safe and enriching day for your loved one but also evidence-based interventions that can help preserve cognitive function and increase quality of life. An alternative to standard adult day options and first of its kind, our state-of-the-art facility resembles a mid-century town featuring a variety of nostalgic period-themed storefronts, and our proprietary reminiscence programming (a product of the renowned George G. Glenner Centers) sparks memories of the past to stimulate the mind. Benefits of Reminiscence Therapy include improved mood, communication, sleep quality, and a reduction in depression and agitation among those with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. Throughout the day, members take part in a wide range of engaging activities facilitated by our staff members who are extensively trained on expert-developed Alzheimer’s and dementia care and therapeutic reminiscing techniques. The monthly calendar includes a variety of special events, including themed celebrations, visiting entertainment, guest speakers, music, gentle exercise, cognitive stimulation, creative expression, and much more.
