Today, TPH & Co.’s research team covers approximately 130 companies, its sales and trading team provides service to institutional energy investors globally, and its investment banking effort includes over 100 professionals with significant transaction and energy industry expertise. Approximately one third of TPH & Co.’s team has technical experience and worked previously in the energy industry. With offices in Houston, Calgary, Denver, London and New York, TPH & Co. is very active advising clients in upstream, midstream, infrastructure, oilfield services, refining and petrochemicals, energy technology (including renewables), activist situations, restructuring, commodity risk management, ESG, and in public and private capital raising. TPH & Co. was founded in 2004 with the creation of an independent, energy-focused, research-only firm. TPH & Co. launched its energy investment banking practice in 2007, and in 2016 joined forces with Perella Weinberg.
