We specialise in the production of environmental data for food products in order to provide clients with accurate, verifable information at the product level. This allows for data-driven decisions to be made with regards to reducing scope 3 emissions and to better manage resources. TrackCarbon provides digital environmental labelling of food products and technology to ensure traceability and transparency along the supply chain. Digitalisation of labelling allows for sustainability data to be encapsulated into a GS1 Digital Link QR code and accessed by consumers. The supply chain of businesses, both big and small are often stacked with multiple suppliers and manufacturers which in turn takes time and a significant amount of resource to un-web. TrackCarbon's data solution allows food buyers to calculate and retrieve data on the water usage, land usage and CO2e content for each purchased (or to be purchased) product. The web application seeks to harness supply-chain data under one platform, to arm procurement teams and sustainability managers with robust information for apt decision making. TrackCarbon's software was built on the premise that similar to the finance function within an organisation, environmental data should be accurate, auditable, and transparent so that users of this data can be confident in its quality.
