Traction Cancer Support

Traction Cancer Support is a non-profit organisation based in Thorneliebank, Glasgow, Scotland. The charity offer holistic support to cancer patients, their family and carers. We primarily direct our services towards people with cancers of the head, neck and aerodigestive tract system. Traction Cancer Support was set up in 2017 with the aim to raise awareness in the community of these specific cancers and advance the services available for the people who live with them. We value our holistic approach to health as we believe it is vital to nourish mental wellbeing. In order to support this Traction offer a range of different activities within the charity such as- Massage Therapies - Arts and Crafts Projects - Mindfulness Therapies - Make up and Beauty Therapies We also have developed a cookbook titled ‘No Chew Stew & so much more: Easy to follow, easy to swallow Cookbook’. This cookbook offers recipes for people with difficulty swallowing to enjoy the same meals as those who do not. Traction Cancer Support hope to create a secure community and offer holistic therapies to all travelling the cancer journey.
