Trade-Works Foundation

Trade-Works offers skilled trade workshops, supplies, business strategy and hope to under-resourced youth. We believe that everyone deserves the chance to escape poverty through a supportive learning environment and the right opportunities. So far, we've conducted three successful workshops and we are planning our 4th in Kingston Jamaica. The foundation's mission is Inspiring love through action, Trade-Works Foundation connects dreamers with do-ers to cultivate economic opportunity and personal stability for under resourced youth. Our overall commitment is to awaken each youth to their purpose, and expand vision beyond current circumstances. The Trade-Works program helps launch participants into a chosen "trade" and builds interests, promoting the growth of a sustainable business. How It Works: 1. Industry professionals offer the latest technical training and hands-on workshops to attendees. We provide each participant with every physical tool needed to begin a career in their trade. Our workshops equip students with the necessary skills, core industry standards and business management concepts. Graduates receive a Certificate of Accomplishment, plus a supply kit for their chosen skill! Upcoming Trip May 2018- JAMAICA We will be holding a 6-day workshop in the cosmetology, barbering, and music trades for 0ver 60 youth in Kingston Jamaica. We have partnered with 2 schools to provide hands on training, business management/strategy to the students. We are also supplying each youth with a much needed beauty school toolkit and a workbook. These workshops will be taught by expert volunteers giving of their time and finances to provide top training and education.
