Zach & Megan Muncy-Collins enjoyed their past accomplishments as entrepreneurs and soon discovered the true realization of why they were labeled in past employments as "The Power Couple." Each having differing aptitudes that worked in harmony, they discovered a genuine niche. As plans developed, so did the evolution of their unique business model - directed at enhancing community growth through offering specialized methods to support families of small business local to the region - thus formed The Trading Shoppees. Distinctively themed, they incorporated varieties of local-made consumer goods to showcase by searching for talented individuals and extending opportunity to become merchants in commerce & trade, with abilities being of crafters, makers, artists, & boutiques. The engagement of these items would be driven within the Trading Shoppees daily operations to aid success in fulfillment of the vendors hopes, dreams, & brand establishment, all the while assisting Trading Shoppees in ".providing the region with a difference.helping enhance the communities we serve, one trade at a time." As other ventures became more evident in the rising accomplishments of their first brick-and-mortar, The Trading Shoppees ON BROAD in Kingsport, TN, so did that of other downtown sagas. They went on to form The Trading Shoppees ON STATE in Bristol, VA & with a business partner, Tabitha Estep, The Trading Shoppees AT HOME was formed in Zach & Megan’s hometown of Tazewell, VA. As they continue building reputation, Trading Shoppees - THE LOCAL MERCHANTS was born, undergoing new projects with the popular TANGER Outlets.
