Trails for change NGO is trail and tourism development organization in Armenia. With expert staff, internationally trained, and a roster of local heroes, our team along with the help of volunteers are committed to developing trails throughout the country. In 2017, Hans Keifer, Owner of Bellfree Contractors a professional trail building company, came to Armenia as an international expert to help design the TCT and also to lead and train volunteers on the TCT trail project. As an avid trail user himself, he saw so much potential and desperate need to develop the trail infrastructure throughout Armenia and Artsakh, and had the bright idea to start his own nonprofit TFC. OUR VISION To develop the potential for outdoor recreation access and opportunities in Armenia and Artsakh. OUR MISSION We are on a mission to develop a network of trails which spans all across the countries of Armenia and Artsakh. WE EDUCATE, WE BUILD, WE CHANGE We involve local community members throughout Armenia and Artsakh to get involved in trail building, learning the trade, and becoming future stewards of the environment. A network of trails and campsites are not only great places to visit, relax and be inspired, but they also bring social and economic change to the areas within Armenia which need it most.
