The Central University of Haryana has been established by an Act of Parliament:"The Central Universities Act, 2009" by the Government of India. It is one of the 15 Central Universities established by MHRD, GoI. The University has been accredited with an ‘A’ Grade in the first cycle of NAAC assessment and accreditation conducted in March 2017. The University is fully funded by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The permanent Campus of the University is situated on 488 acres of land at Jant-Pali Villages, Mahendergarh district of Haryana from where CUH is running its academic operations. Presently the University offers 72 academic programs (UG/PG/Research). This university offers various professional programs like B.Tech (EE, Civil, CSE, and PPT), B.Voc, M.Tech, MBA, MCA, MTTM, MHMCT, M.Pharma, M.Lib & Information Science, LLB, and LLM. Over the years Training and Placement Cell has successfully invited reputed companies like Larsen & Toubro, Infosys, Nagarro, TCS, BYJU'S, BSES Rajdhani, Reliance Trends, DECATHLON, and other reputed firms.
