The Training Centre UNITRAIN, established in April 2015, is a modern Marine Educational Institution based in Odessa with a strong reputation providing relevant upgrading training for all Seafarers. One of our missions is to enhance the skills of Ukrainian Seafarers to meet the ever changing demands of the Maritime Industry. That is why we are only working with highly experienced Lecturers who provide the training using modern programs and methodologies within a sophisticated training environment. UNITRAIN organizes, maintains and conducts all our training and courses in accordance with the IMO, STCW, National Standards and the requirements of the modern Seafarer, subscribing only to the highest qualities and skills that are expected by ship owners all over the world. We are aspiring to be the leading Centre of excellence in maritime training and competence within Ukraine. Our aim is to be the preferred institution for all ship owners. In order to do this we maintain our training facilities and equipment up to date with the latest technical developments while continuing to upgrade the proficiency of our instructors, assessors and academic staff. On an on-going basis we are conducting research in the quest for innovations in the continuing professional development of our Seafarers. Our Goals are- to achieve a high standard of training services- to offer a wide range of training courses and become the leader for training in the Maritime Industry in Ukraine- to continuously offer the most up to date information and modern training techniques through comprehensive education and advanced classroom instruction to marine professionals, in order to supplement their existing knowledge- to strengthen seafarers competency, that will lead them to become fully professional in line with their qualifications and experience. UNITRAIN is ISO 9001:2008 certificated by the BUREAU VERITAS and works as an official provider for ECDIS and GMDSS.
