Working at College of DuPage for over 25 years, most of the time at the Business and Professional Institute, I assisted the business community in assessing workforce skills and provided training to increase employee skill levels. During that time I also worked with several grant agencies, helping companies receive up to 50%, and many times 100%, reimbursement toward the cost of training their employees. When the college closed our department in February 2009, my partner Lolly Frederick and I, were fortunate to have some of our business clients encourage us to continue working independently. With great excitement, we found ourselves continuing our passion of working with the business community, helping to keep workforce skills at the level necessary for businesses to move forward during these challenging economic times. With over 50 years combined experience as training and resource providers, the partners of Training Plus, Inc. offer solutions to business needs along with training. Our passion is assisting companies with solutions, subject-matter-experts and grant dollars to subsidize the cost of employee training. We partner with you, working closely to tailor training that meets your specific need-training that develops a skilled workforce. Our trainers bring practical, real-world knowledge to the workplace.
