Tranemo Textil AB was founded in 1934 and provided new opportunities for women to work in Tranemo. In 1942, the Kjollerstrom family took over full ownership of the company and in the early years it was mainly trousers that were made, but with time production moved on to concentrate on heavy-duty garments and field uniforms for the army. Tranemo Textil AB have had a long and solid experience in the clothing industry. Our workwear is divided into three ranges, Flame Retardant, High Visibility and Work Identity. Our main focus lies in continuing our market leading position for flame retardant protective clothing, an area in which we are well ahead in the development of new flame retardant fabrics.
