3,500 Miles around India in a Morgan 3-wheeler. Why? To raise the profile of Goonj Foundation's highly disruptive models of rural social regeneration and reward-based 'circular economy' and change the global language from "charity" to "dignity";"donors and beneficiaries" to "stakeholders". To generate peer-reviewed academic research demonstrating the effectiveness of these models on national societies, local communities and individual lives. To raise through partnerships and mindful giving to achieve the above targets. Alan Braithwaite and wife Pat, along with a small support team of logistics and communication specialists, plan to undertake the adventure travel/social regeneration Challenge of a lifetime in November 2019.
