Transamerica Corridor
A well thought-out and developed national corridor constructed in the early years of the 21st century would do much to improve our country. The Transamerica Corridor has significant benefits for our country and the world, and should become a major part of our strategy for national development. The Trans-America Corridor will consist of East-West interstate highways (primarily Future I-66) from Norfolk, VA to San Lius Obispo, CA, and will incorporate new high speed freight rail between those locations, along with natural gas pipelines, and electric connectivity from the Atlantic to the Pacific. This project is America's new economic champion, allowing the nation to compete against other major international trade corridors like Mexico's InterOceanic Corridor and the European TEN. Phase I: East-West Continental Interstate Phase II: East-West Continental Electric Connector — Possible Future Phases: Phase East-West Continental High Speed Freight Rail Phase IV: East-West Continental Gas Pipeline Phase V: East-West Continental Water Pipeline
