Transformation Publications

Established in 2003 by Nora and Ketula Melissakis, Transformation Publications is the proud publisher of the Metamorfose series – a defining collection for Afrikaans First Additional Language (FAL) learning. Nora, drawing from her rich experience as an Afrikaans FAL teacher, identified a gap in quality educational resources for FAL students. Unsatisfied with the available material, she embarked on a mission with Ketula to craft a series that resonated with the needs of Afrikaans FAL learners from Grades 7 to 12. This series has become a hallmark for clarity, relevance, and comprehensive learning, enriched with poetry, short stories, and a robust focus on essential language constructs. Ketula Melissakis, is responsible for content generation and design to marketing, distribution, and customer care. Since 2018, he has helmed the operations of Transformation Publications, ensuring its commitment to excellence remains unwavering. With the Metamorfose series, Transformation Publications has reshaped the Afrikaans FAL educational landscape, offering invaluable resources that both educators and students cherish.
