Transition Southampton

Transition Southampton is committed to working with local communities, organisations and local government to help develop positive solutions that meet the imminent challenges of fossil fuel scarcity (‘Peak Oil’) and Climate Change. Above all, Transition Southampton has a positive vision of a resilient and sustainable future beyond the age of abundant fossil fuel energy. Transition Southampton members have been busy setting up various subgroups, holding events, running projects, and planning all sorts of things. Below are some of the things that we've managed to do since starting as a very small group of about 15 people in November 2008.
