Built for Creatives, by Creatives Growing up in Houston (H-town), Unk & Nephew reconnected through Facebook after being separated for over a decade and a half due to family obstacles. As they began sharing stories from their unique separate journeys, they quickly recognized similar inherited traits. Inspired by one another, they agreed to set plans to make their last name mean something beyond the trap of Greenspoint. John Nelson, a.k.a Unk, joined the Navy, traveled the world, and became a highly trained Field Combat Medic and an Executive Protection for VIPs. Dommonic Nelson, a.k.a. Nephew, graduated from Texas Southern University and made headway into the business industry as a tech visionary and product developer. John relocated to North Carolina, where he lives with his wife, Shanté, an educator who is now a part of the united triad. The Nelsons collaborated on a notion to create a beverage that initiates action, innovation, and authenticity. They take pride in shifting the focus from providing a drink that reduces fatigue levels to a lifestyle beverage associated with elevation to a higher self-managing status as one who would have come from the rags to riches tale.
