Travel Papua

Travel Papua is a Dutch-Papuan tour operator located in Manokwari, West Papua - Indonesia. We embrace Eco – Tourism and we show respect to nature and the needs of the people who are local to the area. We explore the unspoilt regions of Papua: Baliem Valley, Korowai Tribe, Arfak Mountains in Manokwari, Nabire, Raja Ampat and more. We learn about the indigenous cultures, the great variation of wildlife in the rain forests and we make beautiful treks in the mountains. We offer tour packages adaptable to customers’ desires. Since we are located directly on the island in West Papua, it gives us the possibility to run and arrange everything smoothly on location. This is especially important when traveling into the remote areas of Papua. We aim to be a sustainable tour operator supporting ecotourism and the local economy and culture of Papua as much as possible. Travel Papua is also a DMC (Destination Management Company) for many tour operators world wide, that offers tours to West Papua.
