Traverse Environmental is a professional services consultancy specialising in planning, freshwater science and project management. We have a passion for working with people and developing solutions to complex challenges. Directors Simon Bendall and Olivier Ausseil have recently combined Traverse Environmental and Aquanet Consulting after years of close collaboration on freshwater science and planning projects. Across our team we have decades of specialist knowledge and experience. We assist local, central government, and private sector clients by providing guidance on a broad range of projects including freshwater science technical advice, resource consent processes, water quality monitoring, community and stakeholder engagement, natural hazard and climate change adaptation, catchment planning, freshwater policy development and National Policy Statement on Freshwater Management (NPS-FM) implementation, strategic planning processes and large-scale infrastructure projects. Traverse Environmental works across New Zealand, with offices in Taupō, Palmerston North, Wellington and Christchurch.
