We moderate private roundtables with corporate treasurers from large enterprises where we discuss current challenges and jointly find superior solutions to excel in the day to day operations. We come from the perspectives of the corporate sector and we know that the potential rationalizations in the financial supply chain dwarf those remaining in the physical supply chain. For decades the latter has dramatically reduced inventory and costs whilst increasing flexibility. It’s not until now, with the disruption of financial services that the financial supply chain can be approached in the same way to make it less vulnerable and also much more efficient. Until now, the financial sector has been able to shave off too much of the value creation in the real economy. The financial sector has earned fees (up to 3%) for each payment, interest on unnecessary working capital caused by float. We also have other inefficiencies we've created ourselves. With new technology we, the corporate sector, can start to address these costs and push them out in favour of more efficient and cheaper alternatives. The Talent Show – Supply Chain Finance – is created by Treasury Peer. The Talent Show builds on interaction between corporate executives, vendors and service providers. Our aim is to inspire solutions for modern financial supply chain. Treasury Peer was merged into Skanor Group Ltd in 2016.
