Tree Action is a not for profit community interest company that organises tree planting and maintenance events in schools and colleges as well on public land to improve the environment, tackle climate change and improve the mental well-being of young people by connecting them with nature. For the schools or colleges we offer to support them in any way to get tree planting and maintenance projects delivered, from site inspection, devising a tree plan, fundraising to pay for trees, careful selection and ordering of suitable trees, organising educational events on site or in local parks and providing maintenance plans for the students to look after their trees. We work with experienced arboriculturalists, conservation volunteers, local authorities, schools, environmental organisations, forest school teachers identify suitable locations for tree planting, organise and fundraise for the events and on-going maintenance programmes. We have two strands to our work – Schools/College Projects and Community Projects
