Tree and Stone is a landscape construction firm based in Scarborough, ME. We work with homeowners, landscape architects, contractors, and designers in Southern Maine and throughout Northern New England to design, install, and sustain outdoor spaces that are both beautiful and functional. We are passionate about the outdoors and we love to share that enthusiasm with our clients. Our design approach focuses on creating spaces that complement their interests and lifestyles. Owner Stewart Bell works personally on the design and installation of each project to ensure quality from start to finish. We work with both natural stone and manufactured concrete to build patios, walkways, driveways, steps, walls, outdoor kitchens, fire pits, and other features. Our planting expertise extends from large trees to perennials with an emphasis on native plant selection and ecological function. Other services include stormwater management, lighting, grading, excavation, site work, and irrigation.
