Treesistance is a movement and an impact blueprint centered on the protection of primary forests in the Amazon. Its approach is Indigenous-led and backed by science. Focusing on the prevention of forest crime by training, equipping, and helping local communities protect their lands. Our mission is to revolutionize attitudes towards climate action, how we all interact with the natural world and inspire systemic change. With the required resources, technical understanding, equipment, and installation, these models can be expanded in the Amazon and other tropical rainforests around the world. This can be achieved when forest crime prevention is supported by robust strategies of change that can revolutionize healthcare, education, renewable energy, security, and sustainable economic development. All equally essential, so we can help lift Indigenous peoples out of poverty, minimize exploitation, and create an environment for communities to thrive, thus ensuring the most effective defense of the environment.
