Single family office launched February of 2013. Trefilia manages both a liquid and illiquid portfolio of assets. In the public market we focus on several long-term themes which we have denominated as: the future of mobility; the future of payments and e-commerce; the new digital lifestyle; semiconductors; and 5G. These themes are complimented through our direct investments as well as commitments to a number of Venture and Private Equity funds. In VC we have focused on LATAM funds which play in the Seed and Series A stages. For our allocation to traditional PE buy-out we have been more active in the lower-middle market space. Though we have also invested in Middle Market. Our verticals include healthcare, energy, manufacturing, and tech & tech-enabled companies. We have a number of direct investments in a Latin-American company that satisfies all of a pet-owners needs, a Neobank, an energy company, a consumer finance company with a focus on satisfying women’s financial needs, a Boston-based healthcare company disrupting weight loss procedures, and an e-commerce insurance brokerage in LATAM.
