Trefoil Tutors

We are a private tutoring company offering one-to-one and specialised group tuition. Trefoil Tutors is unlike other tutoring companies. We work with a small pool of hand-picked tutors, all of whom are specialists in tutoring their subject and come from the country’s top universities (Oxford, Cambridge, Warwick and others). Unlike other tutoring companies, we do not offer a “one-size-fits-all” mentality, but rather adapt our teaching to fit the individual needs of every child, supporting and augmenting their educational development at school. Our teaching model pays great attention to the individual needs of each child and adjusting the teaching plan accordingly in order to achieve the best results. We describe our teaching method as Planning-Teaching-Reflecting. We provide our tutors with resources and support in structuring their lessons and task design; delivering these efficiently during the lessons; evaluating and assessing the progress made in order to adjust future lesson plans. We know that every child has potential to achieve excellent results at school if they are provided with the correct support and work ethic. At Trefoil Tutors, we will spend time with your child in order to offer an teaching programme that will allow them to develop their strengths and work on the gaps in their knowledge. At Trefoil, tutoring is much more than supervising a child’s school work or simply providing them with extra worksheets.
