Trequity” is an amalgamation of the name “Tri-equity.” As the name suggests, the focus is on three types of asset classes – capital markets, real estate, and alternative investments. Tolu Ajayi – Managing Partner Tolu Ajayi co-founded Trequity Capital LLC, an asset management and investment company in New York City in 2013. He leads portfolio management, risk management, research activities & asset allocation activities for the company. Before founding Trequity Capital, Ajayi has managed and controlled the investments and budgets of various Fortune 500 companies across various financial industries – investment banking, telecommunications and more recently in the media industry. All throughout his career, he has always shown a passion for true value creation, either through seeking new opportunities, or reaching across the aisle to influence decisions. Tosin Ashafa – Managing Partner Mr. Basheer Tosin Ashafa is a prolific and widely-experienced business professional. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Morgan State University and an M.A. in Entrepreneurial Management from the European School of Business. Along with heading multiple successful real estate development and management companies, he is a philanthropist whose investments directly impact the establishment and capacity building of tech start-up companies and agro-trading commodity platforms. A social entrepreneur, Ashafa holds a strong interest in social impact innovation, because it champions the catalytic power of entrepreneurship and invention, which ultimately exists to promote growth.
