Tampereen ylioppilaskunta TREY on kaikkien 18 Tampereen yliopiston opiskelijan yhteinen edunvalvoja ja palveluntarjoaja. Yliopistolain mukaan ylioppilaskunnan tehtävänä on toimia jäsenistönsä yhdyssiteenä ja edistää heidän yhteiskunnallisia, sosiaalisia ja henkisiä pyrkimyksiään.
