TRIBE is a unique Boutique & Ecofriendly guesthouse where sophistication is carefully blended with natural awareness, making guests feel comfortable and connected to the Earth in a home away from home. The design was intended to fuse traditional pre-Columbian building techniques with some eastern elements of Feng-shui. The objective of melting the guesthouse with the environment, representing each element (earth, wind, fire and water) equally, was always to maintaining a natural balance in a relaxing atmosphere, perfect for recreating an idyllic and authentic travel experience. TRIBE is a company with a sense of environmental and social sustainability. The firm strongly believes that tourism ought to be a channel for empowerment in local communities. TRIBE is convinced that children are the future and TRIBE is helping to improve the conditions of our most vulnerable population. Bearing that principle in mind, the company donates part of the income to help fund the educational workshops focused on encouraging the achievement of building significant life skills such as education, multicultural knowledge, ethics and last but not least, love. TRIBE is located at the Foothills of the majestic Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, considered the highest coastal mountain range in the world. These isolated mountains are home to 4 indigenous pre-Columbian tribes, all of which descend from the ancient and wise Tayrona Civilization (Kogui, Arhuaco, Wiwa, Kankuamo). In thios range it is possible to find every climate in America; from perpetual snow to pristine beaches in just approximate 42 linear kilometers. TRIBE offers a boutique service, with only 3 double rooms available. The rooms are furnished with hanging beds designed for couples, a mosquito net and a fan. Bathroom facilities are super modern and private to each room. Definitely, our guests love our outdoor showers. The hydrojet pool is awesome for a relaxing moment after a tubing session at Palomino river, a hike in the hills of Sierra Nevada, or a beach-day at the Caribbean. Our tourism counselling offers the best tour providers, awesome hikes, free bicycle service (subject to availability) and unique tours off the beaten track that can be customized to the needs and preferences of each guest individually. THe property also have a small but lush botanical garden composed of more than 40 endemic species in order to avoid the introduction of foreign species and to give you a taster of the beautiful plants found in the local area. Also, our luscious fruits and tantalizing herbs are there waiting to be consumed by our guests.
