Filip and Romain began our journey in 2022, launching a medical technology startup focused on developing upper-body exoskeletons for patients with Duchenne muscular dystrophy. We engineered embedded control systems featuring EMG-based muscle detection, motor control, and voice recognition. However, by 2024, a lack of funding forced us to pause our efforts in the medical sector. Rather than walking away, we chose to adapt. Filip relocated the company to his hometown of Prague, grew the team, and shifted focus to consulting — determined to help other entrepreneurs avoid the pitfalls we had encountered. Today, we bring ideas to life by applying the hard-earned lessons from our early challenges, offering expertise in mechanical design, electronics, and firmware development. Our setbacks became the foundation for what now works.
