Tribul The Tribe

Tribul (The Tribe) is a social business started in a city where the population (2 million) is equal to the number of cars that travel each day through the town - and that is the capital city of Romania - Bucharest. The unique “social” goal of The Tribe is to promote cycling in the city as a mean of transportation. We deliver packages daily at a unique price, no matter the distance, weight or weather and 10% go directly to Cicloteque the first bicycle rental service in Bucharest. In two years of activity (with no start-up money) we’ve delivered packages and saved about 4.6 tons of C02 with only four messengers - all this in a city where the percentage of cyclists is lower than 1%. But more and more companies start working with us, realising that we are cheap, fast, and we also have a great social mission. Besides that, on a daily basis, we get about 5 phone calls from people who find this job attractive and want us to hire them. And that is as important for us as delivering our daily packages.
