We are a small woman-owned architectural practice based in Oakland and The Sea Ranch, California. We are inspired by the abundant examples in nature of adaptation, resilience, and good design. Take trichomes, those subtle epidermal outgrowths, serving myriad functions evolve and adapt over time as responses to help plants thrive in their unique environments. Buildings, like trichomes, should adapt and respond to the needs of their occupants, as healthy places supporting healthy lives.
