Triera Biosciences is working to accelerate innovation in the biomanufacturing and life sciences industry worldwide. Triera is a Canadian biosciences company that is developing an aptamer therapeutics platform in partnership with McMaster University. Aptamers are synthetic single-stranded DNA- or RNA-type molecules that are built from the same building blocks of human DNA or RNA. They can selectively bind to a target with high affinity and specificity, making them ideally suited for detection and treatment applications Triera is owned by Zentek Ltd, a publicly traded nanotechnology development and commercialization company based out of Canada.
