Trill Burgers

Founded in Houston, Trill Burgers is a smashburger concept led by rap legend Bun B (Bernard Freeman), restaurateur Andy Nguyen, Scurfield Group founder Nick Scurfield, Chef Michael Pham, and Chef Fernando Valladares. Located in Houston’s Montrose neighborhood at 3607 S. Shepherd Dr, the restaurant is open seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m, with drive-thru until midnight on weekends. Trill Burgers’ menu features beef and vegan smashburgers including the OG Trill Burger with two smashed beef patties, Trill Sauce, caramelized onions, pickles and American cheese on a potato bun. Trill Burgers’ OG Burger earned the title of the best burger in America from “Good Morning America” in 2022 and won a coveted Gold Buckle Foodie Award for Best Classic Fair Food at the 2023 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. In addition to serving at the world’s largest rodeo, Trill Burgers is a vendor at NRG Stadium for Houston Texans games and Shell Energy Stadium for Houston Dynamo games. The brick-and-mortar location on Shepherd has been visited by notables including Ludacris, Drake, Shaquille O’Neal, Ken Griffey Jr, Mike Tyson, E-40, Too Short, Pro Football Hall of Famer Andre Johnson and Houston Astros stars Alex Bregman and Kyle Tucker.
