Trinity River Energy was formed in 2014 through a merger of oil and gas assets held by Legend Production Holdings and KKR Natural Resources Funds. We are one of the largest operators in the Barnett Shale, with additional assets and production in the Permian Basin, South Texas, East Texas, Louisiana and Mississippi. Our company has substantial scale and a strong balance sheet that positions us as one of the largest privately held oil and gas exploration and production companies operating in the Southwest United States. Trinity River Energy is headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas, and jointly owned by KKR Natural Resources Funds and Riverstone Holdings LLC. Our Operations team is based in Fort Worth, while our Finance, Accounting, and Information Technology teams are based in Houston, Texas.
