In 2010, two Scandinavian travel industry executives with more than half-a-century of combined experience from top tier international travel business, set out on a journey. Initially, their objective was to bring a competitive new travel company to the Scandinavian market, but as the project progressed, a decision was made to raise the bar - substantially. The new plan was to disrupt the market by launching the next generation travel service – a way more automized and highly customer centric travel packaging solution, done in real time, with unnecessary administration and related overhead costs eliminated from the equation. Easy to say – but since nothing like that existed, a “challenge” to develop and deliver on…. Fast forward to today's date: The technical description is “dynamic packaging done in real time”, but we call it “travel business done easy”. With its headquarters in Sweden, TripX Travel is a market-leading travel-tech company and OTA, providing direct-to-consumer travel services based on a unique real-time, dynamic packaging solution to more than 220 destinations in over 50 countries. Under its own brand, TripX has served hundreds of thousands of customers in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, and throughout the EU since 2012. Furthermore, TripX Travel also operates a set of partner-branded direct-to-consumer package travel services for international airlines and travel companies such as Norwegian Air, airBaltic, SAS, KM Malta Airlines, Wakacje, Vola, Rejsespejder, and Holiday Pirates. This is made possible through an innovative white-label/clone setup — a solution that is also fully or partially and seamlessly integrated into the websites of various European e-commerce brands.
