Troika Photos is a multi-media & photography agency based in London. We have expertise in Market & PR, Business Portraits. Editorial & Culture. Marketing & PR projects include advising ( & shooting for) the Royal Mail on their stamp launches; a press & billboard advertising campaign shot for Eurostar & promo work for St Pancras International. Among our business portrait clients are Royal London Asset Managers, SEB, Definite Article Media, & recently Rhotic Media & the BCB Group. We shoot artworks & exhibitions for galleries at Frieze, PhotoLondon & the London Art Fair. Press stories include shooting a cover for Time Magazine in Former Yugoslavia; accompanying a World Food Programme convoy across the Sahara; shadowing Prime Minister Tony Blair during an election & covering the Iraq war of 2003 as one of four Guardian photographers. Video clients include the Format Photography Festival, Richmond Music Society, Forest England. Troika Photos was founded in by photographer Michael Walter & picture editor Bridget Coaker. Michael has worked across many photographic disciplines, from press & documentary (including in Iraq & Bosnia during the wars there), advertising & PR, to portraiture & product photography for a Premiership football club & NEXT Interiors. He also has been teaching photography summer schools at CSVPA in Cambridge, as well as running workshops at Milton Keynes College & evening classes at Oaklands college in St Albans. Bridget is an experienced picture editor. She was Head of Pictures at the Press Association before becoming News Picture Editor at the Guardian & Observer Newspapers for 20 years. She has written about photography including for Photoworks, Exhibiting Photography & Words. She was a speaker at the Late Night Talk series at the National Gallery. Bridget has been a reviewer at many international photography festivals including at Fotofest in Houston, Daegu in South Korea, Contact in Toronto & Rencontres D’Arles.
