It achieves this by making use of a trucks empty leg journeys which are normally paid by other consumers for no actual benefit received. TruckShare aims to increase the affordability of logistics while still keeping it reliable. So TruckShare aims to not only allow consumers to find empty leg trucks more easily and frequently but also to add value above the underlying transport contract they would normally have with a logistics company.
