Transformational performance – at the level of the organisation, the team, and the individual – starts with having a goal in mind. A really ambitious one. Strategy and execution follows – driven by the resolve, commitment and determination to see it through. Technical and structural changes may be needed, but so might also changes in behaviours, values, and organisational culture. It will certainly take a willingness, an eagerness even, to change – and this is often the most difficult part because it is human nature to resist it. That’s where we come in. As corporate performance coaches we work with leaders and their teams to define an aspirational goal, assess the current situation, develop creative solutions, and hold them to account to deliver on the actions they commit to. We also work with them to challenge the way they think about and perceive situations – empowering them and enabling them to get ‘unstuck.’ Experience has taught us that whatever we think the problem is, it’s almost certainly not. It’s a symptom of something else completely, and it’s that ‘something else’ that we work on with our clients.
