Ever wondered if a WhatsApp forward is true or just fake news? Or if a tweet/ FB (Facebook) post is real? Fret no more- We at True Side, bring the latest and trending fake news, fake posts, or fake videos circulated under different categories in one roof. We are set of undergraduates from IIT Madras with a mission to ‘FIght Fake News & Misinformation’. In this age of social media where there is a deluge of information, misinformation and fake news are also fed knowingly or unknowingly. With the paucity of time, one would either forward the message, picture or a video without cross checking its veracity or would not forward as getting into whether it is right or wrong was time consuming. Features : SEARCH - For easier access through the news contents in the app. SHARE - Social Share feature to share the information through all major social media FAVOURITES - Bookmark the fake news information which you feel important and read it later.
