TruElastin Laboratories is a pre-clinical stage medical device company that developed and patented a novel technique for crosslinking and stabilizing natural elastin. This technology platform has a wide range of clinical applications and is the basis of our clinical development program. Elastin is a critical material found naturally in the skin, joints, ligament, vascular system and the lungs. It provides tissues with elasticity, resiliency and suppleness. Despite being a desirable target for medical applications, creating a stable and useful form of elastin has been elusive. Until now. The first product candidate in our portfolio, TEL219 was is designed as a differentiated soft tissue filler for aesthetic applications.
