TruView Optical Sdn Bhd is founded by Mr Wilson Wan which has been a family business for them handed over 3 generations. It goes a long way back to the 1960s where Wan’s grandparents first started their optical shop in Klang which later expanded into 3 new branches in the heart of the city, Kuala Lumpur. It was later in the 1980s, handed over to his parents which they had continued the legacy and the spirit of a traditional optical shop in Port Klang which is in operation till now as decades old of loyal customers still supports them for their quality assured products and great services. Carrying the spirits of the family business, Wilson Wan decided to start his own concept of optical shop. He realizes the needs and trends of eyewear are changing rapidly and optical shops needs to undergo revolution to accommodate the new generation’s lifestyle. In 2007, he started TruView Optical at Bukit Tinggi, Klang with aim to introduce new lifestyle optical trend into the neighborhood. It was later on shifted to take root in Kuchai Lama in 2009, and began to expand to include a new branch in Bandar Sri Petaling.
