Tsonami Sound Art

Since 2007 it has produced the TSONAMI International Sound Art Festival, an annual event where sound artists from all over the world meet to carry out residencies and artistic processes that involve the territory and the city as a space for research and experiences. TSONAMI is a festival of processes and creation as well as exhibition. Since 2012 the organization has been developing various lines of work in the editorial, archival, radio, training and production of work, including the Journal of Sound Art and Culture AURAL, the mapping / soundscape archive of Chile and Latin America the label TSONAMI Records and experimental radio online From 2018 Tsonami begins a new phase with the management of a physical space, B.A.S.E Tsonami, located in the heart of the city of Valparaíso.
