The TAFE Technical Operators Centre (TTOC) is Australia’s only vocational training facility designed specifically for people seeking a career in television and broadcast production. Our graduates operate cameras, capture sound, provide replays and effects, manage communications and administer the transmissions that deliver audiences their favourite television programs. The TTOC has a unique focus on practical workshops and on-the-job experience, recognising broadcast operational training is not suited to classroom sessions in isolation of “real world” experience. Universities and TAFE provide many students with academic and practical knowledge each year. TTOC recognises that graduates need specific on-the-job training to gain employment in industry. The TTOC provides that experience in a fast track form.
